Rabbi Bruce's teaching on the Middle East is so compact, informative and clarifying a presentation that the Prime Minister of Israel personally requested a copy of the workbook that goes with it; and the President of the United States was given the same workbook personally by the Prime Minister of Barbados shortly after Rabbi Bruce taught in his country. He taught by invitation to the entire Jewish leadership of the Island nation of Barbados – the only Messianic Jewish leader ever to make ever to make such a presentation by invitation to the non-Messianic mainstream Jewish leadership of an entire country. The Rabbi and his entire family are Israeli citizens, and he was the first official delegate from the American Messianic Jewish community sent to Israel to make contact with the nascent Messianic Jewish community in Israel, and the first to make an address to the Israeli Messianic Alliance in the Hebrew language rather than English. Two Testament Judaism:
Rabbi Bruce is among the rare group of religious leaders that have actually coined nomenclature by
which a faith refers to itself. Rabbi Bruce coined the term because there exists wide confusion
caused by uneven application of the term "Messianic Judaism" to vastly divergent faith expressions ranging from Christian missionaries like Jews for Jesus to Orthodox groups like the Temple Mount Faithful and Gush Emunim. Rabbi Bruce's model of Jewish faith in both Testaments of Scripture has produced the only synagogue of Two-Testament Jewish faith ever to endure in Manhattan – the capital of the Jewish world outside Israel: and has served across more than twenty years as an influence for Messianic synagogues from Los Angeles to Moscow. This model of faith has gained the respect of numerous mainstream Jewish leaders in New York City, and has resulted in several invitations from mainstream Jewish leaders to discuss, debate, and present to them and their constituencies. It has also led, without compromise of any key point of Two Testament faith, to invitations to minister within the mainstream Jewish community in worship and holiday celebration.
